The possibilities of locally treating inner ear disorders have been extensively studied in the last ten years. The conference aims to present the various features of local treatment, the target sites, the forms of application and the effects on inner ear symptoms and disorders. Two round tables will elucidate this new therapeutic approach in order to rationalize its indications and provide guidelines for its clinical use. The conference is addressed to enT and audiology specialists and residents.

The course is addressed to specialists and residents in enT, Oncology and radiotherapy. The interest for an open debate arises not only from the large diffusion of a largely successful surgical technique, but also from the series of new and less new “improvements” that have broadened the indications, changed the rehabilitation times, decreased possible sequelae and complications. The appearance of apparently less invasive alternative strategies and techniques has little decreased the enthusiasm for reconstructive subtotal laryngectomies (rSl) The main objectives of the course are to present: - an update of oncological indications taking into account that they have slightly changed with time - an update of the technique and its most common variations - a presentation of therapeutic strategies on district lymph nodes - a discussion on those indications that have certain therapeutic alternatives - a presentation of the evolution and optimization of functional rehabilitation, as well as of the options for the corrections of possible failures of rehabilitation.

Theoretical-practical course for enT specialists and residents, dentists, neurologists, physiatrists, orthopaedists, postural therapists and audiometrists. The postural analysis is getting increasing interest from different specialists who do not have in their profession a dedicated target. This transversal interest has prompted us to organize an interdisciplinary course that may provide the bases for a serious confrontation among the various specialties and create multidisciplinary co-operations for the management of patients with postural problems.aim of the course is to provide the necessary knowledge for correct diagnosis and therapy of the most typical pathologies of the postural system. every ailment caused by postural disorders that may arise from central or peripheral pathologies of the ear or the various organs involved in posture (cervical rachis, temporomandibular articulation, etc.) will be dealt with in multidisciplinary manner. The course, organized in co-operation with the enT Unit of Saronno Hospital will include theoretical lessons, practical demonstrations on real or videoregistered cases and group exercises. diagnostic and therapeutic protocols for the treatment of postural pathologies and rehabilitative strategies with the stabilometric system will also be proposed.

Menière disease continues to represent one of the major doctrinal and clinical enT puzzles. In the most recent scientific literature there is a renovated enthusiastic interest for this nosographic picture, with highly qualified scientific and clinical contributions, often as a result of multidisciplinary competences. The course is the ideal continuation of the first edition of december 2009, of which it will maintain the basic structure with the addition of the following contents: - Update of the state of the art of basic knowledge about Menière disease according to “Journal Club” criteria. - Uddate of the pharmacological bases of medical therapy - Update of clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic present and future knowledge arising from the practical application of most recent doctrinal contents. The mainly practical character of the course will be warranted by the active and interactive participation of menieric patients, as well as by experienced teachers and tutors. The course is addressed to enTs, audiologists, audiometrists, as well as radiologists andotoneurosurgeons.
