Couriers

A courier is requested on an order that has already beingDelivered (with a POD) to the original ship to address. CE

calls to request parts be move from location B to location

Courier Conditions

There is already a tracking number or jobnumber that identifies the original order

No parts will be source instead they will be

moved to a different location

The following table describes the differentdestinations where courier deliveries are

accepted:

Once it has been determined that Courier can be placed:

Open the subcase number

Select the order containing the parts that the CE wants tocourier to a new location

Verify if :

1. The part number is correct in Qty and format

2. Order is SBD or NBD

3. Look for the Job or Tracking number

Confirm if original destination (ship to address) iscorrect

Open the tracking number to confirm if parts have beendelivered.

In case it is a SBD order and it goes to a customersite, CE residence or a different FSL call UPS SCS

to re-route the part. In case it is a NBD order youneed to wait for the POD.

If is a SBD sourced as a CE pick up, Call UPS

SCS and they will work with the existing job to turn itinto a drive.

Hit place order

OMS will provide a new job number. Check with UPS SCS tomake sure it dropped and if it has the correct ETA.

Create proper tech notes in GCSS.

Inform the CE of ETA.
