It’s hard to miss the con- struction going on at the North Canyon Medical Center at the south end of Gooding. e new 33,000 square foot Medical Plaza is a $10 million dollar addition funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and Idaho Health Facilities Authority. The goal of the Medi- cal Plaza is to improve the coordination of care for patients by bringing health care services together in one convenient location. e fa- cility will include an on site Physician Office; on site Physical, Occupational and Speech erapy; a perma- nent MRI machine for daily and emergent MRI services; a dedicated space for their growing Wound Center; and an expansion of the cur- rent Specialty Clinic. As a continuing effort to improve existing services, the North Canyon Medical Center is collecting feedback on how the organization is perceived by community members. You are encour- aged to give your feedback by participating in the sur- vey at www.surveymonkey. com/r/GD2RCTK e survey consists of five quick questions, and all re- sponses are anonymous. If you would like to help keep health care in our area the best it can be, please com- plete the survey by Monday, April 11th. ----- Coming Soon... ITD has invited diverse stakeholders from the Wood River Valley to par- ticipate in a community advisory committee for the Timmerman Junction Study. e first commit- tee meeting, which is open to the public, will be held ursday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Blaine County Courthouse (206 1stAve. South, Suite #300, Hailey, ID 83333). The committee will work with ITD to develop and ana- lyze possible options, and identify intersection im- provements that ITD could pursue for future funding e CSI Fine Arts De- partment is putting out a call to visual and perform- ing artists for the all-new Spring Arts Experience that will take place on the CSI campus April 27 – 30. All spots will be offered free of charge to the artists. Inter- ested artists should contact Camille Barigar at 732-6288 or [email protected] Visual artists are sought to sell and display their work during the CSI Fine Arts Fair, the culmination of the Experience, from 12 – 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Artists of every medium are sought. Because the goal of the Arts Fair is to be an im- mersive arts experience for the artists and the commu- nity, artists are also asked, if possible, to provide a live demonstration of their art and, ideally, to provide the community with hands-on arts lessons or projects dur- ing the day. Performing artists are sought to perform on the special CSI Globe outdoor stage throughout the week.
