    Erehwon | Logo StoryErehwon's new look. And what it means.

    Get away from the formula approach to logodesign, which delivers predictable results.

    Create a graphic / mnemonic that breaks themonotony of assembly-line typography.

    Make a departure from straight lines andgeometrically positioned visual components.

    Create a vibrant innovation platform that visuallysignifies a fountainhead of creativity.

    The loops springing out from the letter h signifyinnovation orbits and hold the Erehwon name together.

    The loop graphic also signifies a knowledge treeor a fountainhead of inspiration.

    The typeface blends well with the visual treatment -projecting a company that dares to be different.

    While the treatment of typeface integration is non-conventional, it does not take away from thelegibility aspect.

    The fiery red color choice further accentuates thebold, innovative orientation of the company.

    Erehwon | MascotRetaining the human element

    Concept extension

    One component that is still critical to the new identity

    is the human element in an astral embrace -outstretched arms reaching out to explore higherrealms of inspiration. This will be retained as amascot in applications, across the board.

    Importantly, this visual composition lends itself well toa 3-D version that could be placed in the lobby /reception areas of Erehwon offices (and maybe onemployee desks as well.)

    After a series of image clarity tests done internally, we have arrived at aformat that stands out clearly against a white background.

    As it may not always be possible to use a white background, we recommenda background reference as shown below.

    Indian Yellow (Pantone DS 5-1C or C:0 M:20 Y:100 K:0) with a 12%deepening for the drop-shadow.
