PROPOSAL

I. Background

Indonesian nation challenges in human resource development are increasingly

severe, especially in welcoming the ASEAN community 2015. One of the

things that should be established is the quality of education for better future

generations. The Indonesian people, in 2015, do not only become Indonesian

citizens but also Asean citizens, so there will be a human resources mobility for

economy, cultural, governmental and educational sectors. In the education

sector the biggest challenge is how to develop a joined curriculum through

Asean education development as well as to strength the Asean University

Network such that the university students will have a broad knowledge, a good

hard/soft skill, creativity and innovative idea in solving common problems in

the Asean region. Asean partnership, especially in the aspect of education,is a

key factor on achieving the common goal, therefore the Faculty of Teacher

Training and Education develop an International Short Academic Visit Program

with a theme "Developing an International Education Connection Trough

Asean University Network to Welcome Asean Plus Eight Community"

II. Objective

To have broad knowlegde and experince through International Education

Connection through Asean University.

III. Date and Venue

Visit Duration : Five Day Visit

of Teacher Training and Education the University of Jember in which the total
