RecognitionsPhantabat “Tao” SantimakornPhantabat “Tao” Santimakorn is not the first successful IBO to admit to being sceptical about the business at first. Although his mother and brother were involved and very excited about the opportunity, Tao was not convinced.

This changed after he moved to Australia to study aerospace engineering and was motivated to fund his education.

My brother had tried to explain it but I didn’t understand. After I moved to Australia I started to research for myself. What I found was totally not what I expected.

Tao quickly realised what his family had been trying to tell him. He saw a business he could run for himself with very low start-up costs, low risk, no inventories, no overhead costs and “best of all, you can do it without having

any prior business experience.”

After completing his qualifications, Tao decided that instead of moving into corporate life, he would focus 100% on his Amway business. “It’s not only about money. It’s about creating choices” Tao explains. “Amway helps people to create an extraordinary life so my advice to others is simple. Don’t ask if you can do it. Ask yourself if the opportunity to have that extraordinary life is worth putting in the effort.”

At 25, Tao is very clear what he wants to achieve in life. “My goal is to be the youngest Diamond in Australia and New Zealand. I have received amazing support from my uplines, Patrick and Joyce, and everyone in my team works very hard. The business is growing in the right direction and we have fantastic momentum. So I totally believe we will succeed.”

Adam Peskops and Teri PowerWhile Adam runs an air-conditioning business, and Teri works as a Business Development Manager in the Events industry, the couple has long had an eye on their future. “We love a healthy, active lifestyle and enjoy travelling the world in search of surf and snow,” says Teri. “So, we wanted to set something up that would give us more time to do the things we love.”

Adam was already familiar with Amway through his Mum, who has helped the couple build their business since they joined Amway in 2013. “This has really pushed

our comfort zones as we’ve learned how to work together,” says Teri. “The digital tools and expert training provide so much support, and we have an amazing Diamond upline, Ingrid Kent.”

Adam and Teri are very excited about their first Achievers trip to Bali and have some clear advice for other new IBOs. “Be sure why you want to build this business. Explore all of the products and services and have confidence that you are offering the people in your network a phenomenal opportunity.”
