SHUL ANNOUNCEMENTS

Congregation Beth Aaron is always looking for ways to improve the content and delivery of our shul communi-cations. We recognize that some of our members prefer to receive their shul information through alternative means to that of the traditional email. Our initial CBA Announce-ments WhatsApp group is at capacity. To allow all mem-bers access to this immediate form of communication, we've started a second group, which will receive the same exact messages, and function the same way as the initial group. If you are already signed up for the original group, you do not need to do anything further. If you're not on the original one, please visit https://chat.whatsapp.com/FEWiaFNhYGTIqwboXs6SHI from your smartphone.

Consider joining our “virtual buddy” program. You will be matched with someone else in our community whom you will have the opportunity to connect and provide friendship and support. Rabbi Rothwachs asks that each of our mem-bers sign up for an additional buddy. Sign up here.

VIRTUAL CHAVRUSA PROGRAM

If you would like to be introduced or matched with some-one else in the community who would be looking for a vir-tual chavrusa, please fill out a form by clicking on the fol-lowing link https://forms.gle/f4XwExK2LqxpfWK17.

Morris Zimmerman, a long-time member of Beth Aaron, is

living at Care One at Teaneck. He would very much like to receive phone calls as he has been isolated in his room for several months (no visitors allowed). He can be contacted at 201-287-8605 (Room 201).

Dedicate a day of learning at Beth Aaron on the occasion of a yahrtzeit, in the zechut of a refuah shelaima, or in honor of a simcha, a birthday or any other occasion. Each week’s dedica-tions are sent out to the membership via email. For more infor-mation, or to sign up, please go to www.bethaaron.org/parnashayom.

This week’s Parnas Hayom sponsors are:

Monday, 3 Tishrei, Joy & Robert Sperber, commemorat-

ing the yahrtzeit of Robert's mother, Marika Sperber, Esther Fayga bat Azriel.

Tuesday, 4 Tishrei, Cathy & Steve Schuss, Aliza & Kal-man Staiman, commemorating the yahrtzeit of Cathy & Kalman's father, Sholom Staiman, Sholom Tzvi ben Aharon.

Good Erev Shabbos and Shanah Tovah,

I would like this last message of 5780 to be one of thanks and Hakarat HaTov. The last 3-4 months have been truly eye opening for me. To see how much work goes into keeping our shul running smoothly, both when we are out of the shul and when we are B”H back inside, is mind blowing. I want to express my thanks to all those who contribute regularly to our shul, and often do so without fanfare or recognition. I want to express my thanks to all those who have supported me in my role as president, and who continue to serve our kehillah with passion and love.

Rosh Hashanah, says the Nesivos Shalom, is the time when Hashem renews creation and judges man-kind by determining whether we choose to live life in service of Hashem, and towards the purpose of Hashem’s creation of the world. Our judgement is a reflection of our commitment to a purposeful life in the service of Hashem. As such, may we all be zoche as a kehillah to a Shanah Tovah, a new year filled with renewed dedication towards our shul, our community, and the greater Jewish People.

Thank you for all those who have been working tirelessly for weeks, if not months, to prepare our shul for the Yamim Noraim.

We thank the Eizikovitz, Metzger, Presby, Schnaidman, and Yaros families for hosting our outdoor Yomim Nora’im Minyanim, Shofar Blowing, and Shiurim. We also thank Edge Development for allowing the usage of the Chase Bank parking lot, as well as the OU and Ellkay LLC for allowing the usage of the covered parking lot at the OU building.

We thank the Eis, Eizikovitz, Klavin, Levart, and Zell families, as well as an anonymous family for sponsor-ing this year’s Yamim Nora’im minyanim.
