RAMDAN FOOD DISTRIBUTION-PHASE-II

“By The Grace of Almighty Allah and sponsorship of TheLady Fatemah (a.s) Charitable Trust UK, Madinatul IlmCharitable Trust (MICT) Pakistan has successfullycompleted the Phase II of Ramadan Iftaar Project 2012

and distributed the Food Packages amongst 350 familiesand benefited about 2574 individuals in District Chakwalof Punjab Province of Pakistan.”

We are now moving to distribute the same food packs in district

Rawalpindi and surrounding area in Phase-III.

Madinatul Ilm Charitable Trust (MICT) in keeping with its previous support for

individuals in need of food through the holy month of ‘Ramadan’ would like to appeal

for support from Lady Fatemah Trust (LFT) to extend generous support for this holy andworthwhile cause. This is vital in order to help individuals and families stricken by the

effects of high inflation and poverty across Pakistan which makes it impossible for many

to make their two ends meet. Furthermore, there are areas where people living below the

poverty line are still living their lives in abject poverty and need. A gesture which

provides them food support during Ramadan can go a long way in facilitating their most

important fundamental needs.

At MICT, through the generous support of Lady Fatemah Trust, we intend to arrange

food packages to be delivered prior to the Holy Month of Ramadan around the Pakistan. This program has been an on-going project, right through the year from the support of

well-wishers. But during the Holy Month of Ramadan, it is acquires an added

significance.

The food packages are supplied to 350 families in below mentioned remote villages of

District Chakwal. The recipients of these packages include elderly people, orphans or

single mothers with two / three children whose bread earners have either died or simply

abandoned them. Here is a list of the areas where we supplied the food packages:
