RAMDAN FOOD DISTRIBUTION -PHASE-I

B y The Grace of Almighty Allah and sponsorship of The Lady Fatemah(a.s) Charitable Trust UK, Madinatul Ilm Charitable Trust (MICT)Pakistan has successfully completed the Phase I of Ramadan Iftaar Project2012 and distributed the Food Packages amongst 508 families and

benefited about 3756 individuals in District Attock of Punjab Province of Pakistan.

We are now moving to distribute the same food packs in district Chakwaland surrounding area in Phase II.

Madinatul Ilm Charitable Trust (MICT) in keeping with its previous support for individuals in need of food through the holy month of Ramadan would like to appealfor support from Lady Fatemah Trust (LFT) to extend generous support for this holy and

worthwhile cause. This is vital in order to help individuals and families stricken by theeffects of high inflation and poverty across Pakistan which makes it impossible for manyto make their two ends meet. Furthermore, there are areas where people living below the

poverty line are still living their lives in abject poverty and need. A gesture which provides them food support during Ramadan can go a long way in facilitating their mostimportant fundamental needs.

At MICT, through the generous support of Lady Fatemah Trust, we intend to arrangefood packages to be delivered prior to the Holy Month of Ramadan around the Pakistan.This program has been an on-going project, right through the year from the support of well-wishers. But during the Holy Month of Ramadan, it is acquires an addedsignificance.

The food packages are supplied to 508 families in below mentioned remote villages of District Attock. The recipients of these packages include elderly people, orphans or single mothers with two / three children whose bread earners have either died or simplyabandoned them.
