Re : Tardiness and Absences

It has been brought to my attention that you are consistently tardy in coming to work and has incurred absences without leave. We would like to call you attention to this matter.

You are well aware that office hours begin at 8:30 am, and as the head of the Purchasing Department, you should set an example for your staff. Please bear in mind that as an employee of this company, it is your obligation to inform the office if you are going to be absent, late or going somewhere else before coming to work.

As for you absences without leave, the office must be advised should you be unable to make it to work as you have responsibilities to attend to as head of your department. Although at times, your duties can be designated to someone else for the time being, still it would be good for us to know in advance so as to avoid unnecessary inconveniences. It is also your duty as an employee to keep you communication lines open should someone need to contact you during the day.

Tardiness or absence, along with the difficulty we have communicating with you, have cause certain problems especially in cases of emergency, which as you know, in our line of work is always the case. Please be more aware of the time.

For your advise and strict compliance.

Thank you

Mr.Tony de CastroManagerOffice Warehouse Inc.2595 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City

Dear Mr. De Castro :

RE : Complaint regarding the late delivery of office supplies

This is with reference to our order of office supplies given last week, January 15, 2014. Until this time, we have not received the items and we were promised by your Marketing Manager, Ms. Mylene Cruz, that delivery will be made the following day.

We have been placed in considerable inconvenience through the long delay. Please advise us within the day whether you can deliver the supplies tomorrow. If not, we

Technologies Corporation

Page 15: Compilation of Business Correspondence

shall have to cancel the order, as we cannot wait any longer, and must obtain the supplies elsewhere.

This is not the first time that this had happened. There was also delay in many of our previous orders. We have already advised your Delivery Manager before about this problem but still, we have not seen any improvement. The supplies were needed as soon as possible and we particularly stipulated for prompt delivery when giving our orders to your representative, who promised to attended to it immediately. Due to the delay in the delivery of supplies, our production gets delayed, and because of this, our clients are getting delay delivery.

We must really insist upon greater promptness with regard to deliveries. I hope that after this complaint you will take necessary action in this regard and will assure us of timely delivery. Otherwise, we shall have no other recourse but to terminate our contract and place our orders with others who can deliver at the stipulated time.

Sincerely,

Amanda ArevaloSupply Officer
