After reading the story the students got to choose their favorite charac- ter and made a puppet. The children use their puppets to act out the story while Ms. Amason reread the story. Shown is Ms. Amason’s class with their puppets. Early Learning Center students shoot hoops at Georgia College Congratulations to GMC Prep eighth-grader Elizabeth Savage who was recently recognized as a state winner in the 4-H Leadership in Action Program. She led a com- munity service project in which she collected unwanted items from the resi- dents at The Cottages and delivered the items to the Goodwill store to make them available to others. Mrs. Simons and Mrs. Johnson's class recently took a field trip to Georgia College to visit with Coach Mo Smith, head basketball coach, and members of the men's and women's basketball teams. JMA class visits UGA

The JMA Class of 2011 visited UGA and toured the campus with two studentguides. They enjoyed ringing the bell, touring Miller Hall and the Tate Center.An admissions session answered questions about applications and opportuni-ties. The day ended with lunch at the Village Summit Dining Hall where sev-eral former students came by to visit with this year’s seniors.

Mrs. Bellflower’s first grader class at Midway Elementary recently tooka field trip to the Pumpkin Patch at the First United Methodist Churchin Milledgeville.
