Recycling Bin - Do’s and Don’ts drumMUSTERdrumMUSTER is a national program helping rural landholders safely dispose of empty chemical containers.

Farmers and residents can dispose of chemical containers year round. Follow these simple steps for disposing:

• Triple rinse empty drums;• Pour the rinse water back into spray tank;• Remove lids and allow the container to dry;• Take lids separately to the collection point;• Metal containers should be punctured from top to bottom.

To ensure collection, place your bin roadside the night prior to collection and position it at least 1 metre away from other bins

Please rinse items before placing in your recycling bin and do not place waste inside a plastic bag.
