Christmas treeChristmas treeThe tradition of the Christmas tree originated about years ago. It is simply a spruce tree cut down and plonked into your room with decorations such as tinsel, baubles and candy canes on it.Sometimes a Christmas tree can have a star/angel on top of it. You can also put presents under it!!

Christmas stockings usually get hung from the mantel piece for Santa Clause to put your presents in.

They are the shape of a sock so they are a bit of an odd shape for the presents and any that are too big to get in the stocking get put on the floor.
