MASS READINGS EXPLAINED

Due to the pandemic the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick will no longer

be offered on the First Thursday of each month. Please contact the parish

office if you wish to receive the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick.

The sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is offered for a person of the Catholic faith; an adult or a child over the age of seven who is seriously ill, or for a person about to receive surgery for a serious condition, and for those suffering the difficulties and weakness of old age.

Share the spirit of Christ’s love and hope with families in need this Christmas. Due to the pandemic, we are unable to accept toys and clothes for our gift drive. So many families are in need this Christmas, with your help we would like to provide gift cards to them. You are invited to donate gift cards of any amount for Walmart, Target, Fiesta, Walgreens, or CVS. You can put your gift card donation in the wooden collection box in the church, or drop them off at the parish office by Monday, December 14. Thank you for your gifts of love. If you are a family in need of help, please contact the St. Vincent de Paul Society at 832-280-7837. If you need food, come by the office for free food.

The St. Joseph Missal is now available to purchase for $5.00 at the receptionist desk. The Missal has Eucharistic prayers for various needs and includes the readings for all the weekend Masses. We have ordered a limited amount so come and make your purchase soon.

Learn from Dr. Brant Pitre, one of the leading Catholic Scripture scholars, beginning every Tuesday, December 1st, and thereafter at 10:30 am.
