Lee Deploys to Afghanistan. On July 28 th , Lee deployed to Afghanistan to defend our country from further terrorist attracts. His tour is 12 months long, so plan on a party in August 2010. Before Lee deployed he entered and won the “Mr. Golden Isle” bodybuilding contest. He eats and lives a very disciplined life in order to stay in such great shape. While on leave in Grand Rapids, God arranged for Lee to meet an awesome, spiritual woman, Stephanie Gromer. Stephanie lived next door to us in Kentwood and were childhood friends. Lee and Steffie are now pre-engaged. It is inspiring to see them grow together even at this distance. Lee would like you to keep him in his prayers and send some love in the form of cookies, supplements, movies, etc. The address is on his “facebook” page. Luke and Bekah are still in Virginia. Luke’s shoulder did not heal as expected, so in February he had another surgery, The stabbing pain is still not subsiding, so there may be one more surgery in 2010, Please keep Luke in your prayers as well. Bekah completed her transcription courses. Luke, is now working as a desk Sergeant. He took first place in an auto contest with his restored 1969 Mustang. Teagan, almost two years old, is just as cute as ever (not that I am partial), and can really get around. She is already talking, and will definitely graduate top of her class. Laura is still in Michigan: Laura has chosen a career in entertainment. Being a single mom was more than she could manage, so Nancy and I have assumed full custody of Jeremy and Jason. She has a new man in her life Brian Hamilton, pictured here. Nancy and Ron have déjà vu. Who pushed the reset button? We are now raising 3 and 4 year old boys again! Nancy left her job as manager of GNC so we could raise Jeremy and Jason. They have been a real joy, and we have grown close together as we show them so much of the world for their very first time.

This year our best friend and church leader, Phil Morr, went home to the Lord. Phil bestowed on us so much wisdom and inspiration during our years together. We look forward to the day that we all get back together in our Father’s house (which has many rooms). Nancy and I have been very busy as all the church members are joining together to keep the church going while we search for a new leader. I still travel to China often, however some of my trips are virtual trips using new video conferencing technology. - Jet lag without the jet. - A VERY Merry Christmas & A VERY Happy New Year God Bless you all,

Ron & Nancy,
