Find the slope of a line give two points on the line and find the slope of a line given the 

equation of a line.

y = mx + bm is the slope and b is the y­intercept (0, b).

Find the slope and the y­intercept of the following lines.

3) y = 3x ­ 4

4) y = ­¼x + 6
