Together I feel that we can all make a difference. I have seen a difference in our communities happen already. We have had community members sit out at the Police Department and demonstrate that they will not be moved or destroyed by our police force, students of nearby colleges and high schools have dedicated their day to the clean up of Ferguson’s destroyed community andThere was also a meeting held today at the Bread Company where the youth of St. Louis discussed what has happened and what needs to change (Notes from the meeting will be in the next issue).

These actions just show us that we are completely for doing something to help our community out as a whole. This is not a black and white thing, this is not a community vs. the police department thing, this is a “Take a stand and defend our humanity” thing and I am positive that something great will come out of this.

Notes: I asked you guys to send me ideas on what you think needs to happen and I will share a few of my favorites with you:

“I feel like we should start a petition or write letters to not only the St. Louis county municipalities but to the state and national governments. Im down to go to city hall if need be or somewhere to be heard. We don't need hundreds but just a nice group of right minded and Peace oriented people.” - Roderic Byrd !“What we need is a group of thinkers, researchers, leaders, communicators and doers. We need to set aside a day and bring our strongest people together to formulate a plan. Without organization a REVOLUTION will not exist, only a riot, and that's all it has been this far. My generation, My people, My MEN need to lead us, we need more brothers to stand up and take action to lead. We also need our brothers to observe the events as they happen, take notes in detail - chime in on every word that's being said. Talk to the parents of Mike Brown and ask them what THEY want. It's not about us today, but the changes made today will hopefully insure our protection in the days, years, decades ahead. Getting this world ready for when we bring children into the world. We also need to set up a meeting with the chief with a VETERAN leader (not Al Sharpton) but one who is a St. Louis residentwho knows the ins and outs of the crime here, the statistics, and the outcome/judgment of cases like this - and present to them a list if demands. We want ALL ferguson police to be re-trained, we want the officers name, we want a guilty verdict, we want him fired, the list goes on. And along with our demands we MUST state the end result if our list of demands isn't met. And take action from there. We were created and uniquely designed to be the ACTORS not the RE-ACTORS. And we must keep it that way.” -Alexis McCoy ! If you wish to have anything else featured in the next newsletter, feel free to email it to me. Any new information or events, let me know. I am here to help spread the information and educate people. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope we can do something magnificent. Sending all positive vibes,

Alexy Irving
