What is the Canadian Football?
Origins of Canadian football in the early 1860s
Founded in 1958 There are currently 8 teams
in the CFL, some teams have attempted to join but have yet to say for an extended period of time
Currently the second most watched game in Canada
Objective of the Game - Offensive Score Points by
Advancing ball to opponents’ end zone – a touchdown (6 points) You can score 1 point though a PAT- that is a point after a
touchdown or you can go for a more risky two-point conversion
Kicking the through the goal posts for a field goal (3 points)
Tackling the opposing carrier in their own end zone- a field goal (2 points)
Objective of the Game - Defensive When defending the main objective is to keep
