Remember back in 1997 (or thereabouts) and theadvent of the ‘paperless office’? Or thatmagazines, books and newspapers would beconsigned to history? By 2007 we’d all be viewingand reading on screens or monitors...

OK, we do use electronic media more and more these days, thanks to iPads and Kindles. It’squite convenient for certain things. Technology is better. Speeds are quicker. Quality hasimproved. But how many people still print out emails, mailings or electronic ‘brochures’?Loads, that’s how many. Because it’s easier to read on a sheet of paper and because peopleare tactile.

That’s why printed literature is still so very important to any serious branded business thatneeds to communicate its product range and brand personality. The quality of the paperstock, its feel, its touch. The impact of superb photography and typography.

Sure, technology is great at making print more cost-effectively niche and personalised thanever before. Which is great. We can do high quality, low volume print so much better than 10years ago. And make your print budget go further with much less wastage.

After all, nobody wants boxes and boxes of out-of-date company brochures cluttering uptheir marketing department do they?

Print will never die. It’ll just turn over a new leaf.

e are real exhibitionists, so we have our ownin-house team to handle every aspect of yourexhibition requirements, whatever the size,shape or location.

With over 25 years’ experience in designing and buildingexhibition stands, we’d like to think that there’s very littlewe don’t know.

Before we start anything, we take the same brandoverview as we would for any other kind of high-profilebrand project. Once we know what and how we need tocommunicate, we can start to turn our ideas into apractical, feasible and cost-effective exhibition stand.

We don’t just take a ‘single show’ viewpoint either. Welook at the longer term to see if we can maximise thestand expenditure and usage to really make the budgetand the stand pay for itself over the course of severalshows.

We’ve handled some pretty major projects over the years,in a variety of locations throughout Europe. We know themajor venues like the backs of our hands, and all thetimescales and shortcuts required to be at the front of thequeues when it’s time to build-up or pull-down thestands. Leaving plenty of time to get a trouble-free standbuilt that wows clients, their customers and exhibitionstand judges alike.

CFH was founded in the late 1970’s as a specialistoutdoor advertising and design agency to promote the Karrimor brand of outdoor clothing.

Since then, the business has evolved into a total communicationsagency with market leading expertise in design, branding,advertising, web design and build, print management andexhibitions.

Steve Credie [email protected] as Managing Director in 1997 and has over 30 yearsexperience. His client list includes: Graham & Brown, Uno, World ofLeather, Dreams, Burtons, 1860, Debenhams, and Airtours amongstothers.

Shelley Gildersleve [email protected] in 1985 and has over 30 years experience. She has beenaccount director for many major clients including, Karrimor,Wynnster, Regatta, Dare2b, Craghoppers, plus many more
