Overview

The Central Coast Hockey Association (CCHA) offers local businesses the opportunity to sponsor our Association and benefit from reaching in excess of 900 club members and the many visitors that come to our complex from throughout the region and beyond each week.

About the Central Coast Hockey AssociationAs a non-profit sporting organisation our purpose is to operate in service of our members and the promotion of sport. The responsibility to our community and our members is something we take very seriously as an Association and we continue to invest heavily in the growth and development of our players, coaches, umpires and administrators. Supporting excellence and continuing to encourage participation in sport particularly amongst the youth of the district remains a fundamental priority for us.

We currently have 90 teams across Women’s, Men’s and Junior hockey competitions. To ensure its smooth operation and a successful future the Association has a very hard working, professional and dedicated management team in place.

We are embarking on a program to replace the existing 20yr old sand field with a state of the art water base surface, including the addition of improved spectator viewing areas. The project is for the benefit of the current and future players, our spectators and all visiting spectators. The addition of a 2nd water base turf will also enable us to attract additional State Championships, bringing additional revenue to our Association and the wider region.

The Association has strong relationships with local enterprises and the Centre is a community-hub for sporting activities. In addition to hockey, it is also used for business sporting games, school training and matches, and soccer. Our Association has over many years been producing hockey players who have gone on to represent New South Wales and even Australia at Commonwealth and Olympic Games.

What will your sponsorship do for our Association?Your sponsorship would enable the Central Coast Hockey Association, a volunteer organisation, to continue to produce elite players, promote participation in hockey and maintain the hockey complex at Wyong.

We have 90 registered teams across Junior, Men’s and Women’s competitions representing 12 different local clubs.

We have over 900 individual player members aged between 4-80 and in excess of 100 volunteers (Coaches/Managers etc).

The Hockeyroos are ranked number 2 in the world, and have won 3 Olympic Gold medals. They have also won 2 World Cups, and 4 Commonwealth Gold medals.

Package # 1 – CCHA Representative Team Sponsor*As a regional association, we enter teams into Hockey NSW State Championships. We do this for all age groups including boys and girls U11s, U13s, U15s, U18s, Opens and Masters Men’s and Women’s teams. The championships are held throughout the state and there is often travel involved. Along with registration fees, there is also the added cost of producing CCHA uniforms.

Representative sponsorship allows us to subsidise some of these costs. State championship competitions generate a lot of interest and reasonably large crowds. In addition to the regular CCHA sponsorship benefits, representative sponsorship allows us to promote your business to a wider audience.

Package # 2 – CCHA Competition Sponsor**As the name suggests Competition Sponsorship allows you to sponsor a particular competition within the CCHA competition. We appreciate your sponsorship and will endeavour to ensure that you receive a return on the investment. We will use a variety of methods to endorse your business, including signage opportunities at the grounds and the CCHA website and Facebook page. We will also provide opportunities for you to attend association events and promote your Business in person.

We try to foster a strong connection between you and the competition you sponsor.

Package # 3 – Umpire Sponsor**Over 40 umpires are involved each week in CCHA fixtures. In addition to regular sponsorship benefits, Umpire Sponsorship allows your business logo to prominently appear on umpires’ shirts throughout every game played.

Our association is reliant upon volunteers and amounts raised from Umpire Sponsorship are used to train and provide additional support to our umpires throughout the year. Without umpires our organisation would not exist.

Package # 4 – Equipment SponsorThe CCHA is always interested in hearing from businesses and other community organisations that wish to donate or sponsor the purchase of Equipment or Products. We can individually tailor a sponsorship package that meets your particular needs.

Package # 5 – Fence Signage Sponsor

An opportunity exists to have a continuous presence at the hockey complex with signage that is erected on the fences surrounding the two fields, ensuring that you have visibility to over a thousand potential customers per week as well as having repetition of visits to cement your brand in the customers mind.

Banners are to be supplied at your cost. We prefer the mesh style banner as the fence is quite close to the playing surface and this ensures the safety of our players and spectators. The mesh style banners also allow a breeze to pass through them.





Package # 6 – Prize SponsorWith our major focus on junior sports development, we regularly award encouragement certificates to players and end of season trophies. Does your business have the ability to provide vouchers or other gifts that may be appropriate for junior players? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Once again, we can individually tailor a sponsorship package to meet your particular needs.

It is the responsibility of the sponsor to provide suitable logos and artwork in an electronic format recognised by the printing and graphic industry. The Sponsorship package runs for a 24 month term (unless otherwise stated) commencing upon payment. CCHA will ensure all marketing material offered in your package is supplied within the timeframe (where under our control). If your Sponsorship Package includes communication with our members via email, it is the responsibility of the sponsor to ensure security and privacy measures meet the Association’s approval as well as content, timeframe and format. Your CCHA contact will advise you in writing of the timing and should be your first point of contact to discuss your requirements
