Getting Back to Hockey – minimising the risk of Covid-19 and keeping each other safe
We are all in this together, lets encourage and help one another get through to the other side
The overwhelming majority of members who participated in the survey (724 responses) wanted a resumption to hockey. The following is provided to
keep everyone safe and minimise the risk of community spread of Covid-19. All individuals must take responsibility for their own and each other’s
safety by adhering to the outlined measures.
General Advice (relevant to all attendees at ISCH Hockey matches)
• Stay at home if you are unwell – if unwell you may be asked to leave the venue or remain in the isolation area at the venue until you can be
picked up. Any person who is identified as being unwell will need to be tested or given clearance before being able to resume participation
in ISCH activities. Be mindful of where you have recently travelled and who you have been in contact with. If in doubt, get tested and isolate.
• Become familiar with the entry and exit points at each venue: https://www.revolutionise.com.au/isch/resources/covid-19/
• Register your attendance at the venue using the QR code or manual register (players, coaches, and managers will also be captured on
team sheets).
• Maintain social distancing around the venue – observe the signage and guidance at each venue.
• Maintain safe hygiene practices & follow NSW Government health advice: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/how-to-protect-yourself-and-
others; sneeze and cough into your elbow, blow your nose into a tissue – dispose in a bin and sanitise
• Ensure that your Individual Checklist is up-to-date and has been reviewed;

• Think about your need to be at a venue; try and limit the number of spectators; children at venues need to be supervised at all times.
• The turf is out of bounds to everyone except those who are participating in a match.
• Try to leave venues as soon as possible after your game commitments: Get in, Play and Get out. Do not gather in groups
