INCOLLAGGIO, RESINATURA E FUGATURA

BONDING, RESINING AND GROUTING

Bonding entails joining the stone materials to other stone materials or mixed materials in order to create a bond such as metal-stone, ceramic-stone, stone-glass, cement-stone, cement-glass, cement-metal, stone-composite panels such as honeycomb, stone-wood or laminate wood panels. The bon-ding may transparent or coloured.

Resining consists of treating the slabs through the use of epoxy-based systems that penetrate into the micro-fractures and holes, filling and closing imperfections of the material and rendering it compact and perfectly sealed. In case of netting, apply on the back of the material a fibre glass gauze covered by a layer of epoxy system. Netting allows increasing the mechanical strength of materials and safe execution of the subsequent processing phases.

Groutings consists in filling of the empty spaces between the tiles of stone material and agglomerate floors or walls through the use of epoxy, polyester or Glaxs systems. The products penetrate into the grouts and fill them.

For the successful longlasting bonding, resining and grouting is vitally important to select the right product in order to obtain the desired result. It is therefore necessary to assess the material that is to be bonded, the intended process to be used and the environment in which the bonding is to be carried out.

POLYESTER SYSTEMSPolyester systems are used for bonding and grouting of marble, agglomerated stone or stone such as travertine. They are available in liquid or solid form, transparent or coloured; they can be dyed using Universal colour pastes or oxides. The use of polyesters is advisable for manufactured products that are to be used in environments with a temperature range of 0° to 100°C.

EPOXY SYSTEMSEpoxy systems are used for bonding, resining/netting and grouting of marble, granite, stone and other substrates. They are also used to repair, decorate, reinforce and bond stone materials and derivatives. They are available in colo-rable, coloured, transparent and opalescent versions. They have a strong bond and are ideal in external environments where temperatures may dip below 0°C. The epoxy bond is advisable for temperatures that range between -30° and +60°C. Some epoxy products can be used at -45°C and +100°C.

SPECIAL BONDING

New generation mastics and resins specifically designed to guarantee maxi-mum results in terms of adhesion, transparency and the final aspect of the product.

Glaxs systems are used for bonding, resining and grouting of rich materials when is necessary a zero yellowing and no shrouds. They are available in pig-mentable, colored and transparent versions. Characterized by high tightness, are ideal for outdoor environments where temperatures can drop below 0 ° C. The Glaxs bonding is recommended at temperatures in a range of -25 ° and + 60 ° C.

CARTRIDGESKnowing and anticipating the needs of the sector while maintaining the high quality of its products is a fundamental objective for Tenax. For this reason it has created a line of transparent and coloured glue cartridges in order to respond to the specific needs of each customer.

DYESIdeal for colouring mastics, resins and polyester and epoxy systems and surfa-ce treatments. They are available in coloured paste or power form in order to respond to the various production and material requirements.

ACCESSORIESIt is important to choose the right accessories and support products in order to obtain the desired bonding results. Tenax offers a wide range of accessories for each bonding phase.

L’incollaggio consiste nell’accoppiamento di materiali lapidei con altri materiali lapidei o con materiali misti per effettuare incollaggi quali metallo-pietre, ceramica-pietre, pietre-vetro, cemento-pietre, cemento-vetro, cemento-metallo, pietre-pannelli compositi tipo honeycomb, pietre - pannelli legno o laminati legno. Normalmente l’incollaggio può essere trasparente o colorato.

La resinatura consiste nel trattare le lastre tramite l’impiego di sistemi epossidici che, penetrando nelle micro fessurazioni e fori, saldano e riempiono le imperfezioni del materiale rendendolo compatto e perfettamente chiuso. Nel caso in cui si dovesse procedere alla retinatura, si applica sul retro del materiale una garza di vetro e il tutto viene poi ricoperto da uno strato di sistema epossidico; questo permette di incrementare la resistenza meccanica del materiale e procedere così in sicurezza alle successive fasi di lavorazione.

La fugatura consiste nel riempimento degli spazi vuoti tra una mattonella/piastrella e l’altra dei pavimenti o muri in materiale lapideo o agglomerati tramite l’impiego di sistemi epossidici, poliesteri o Glaxs. I prodotti penetrano all’interno delle fughe e le riempiono.

Quando si deve procedere ad un incollaggio, alla resinatura o alla fugatura è fondamentale scegliere il prodotto adeguato per ottenere i risultati desiderati. E’ quindi necessario valutare il materiale che si intende incollare, resinare o fugare, la lavorazione che si vuole eseguire e l’ambiente in cui l’incollaggio verrà effettuato.

SISTEMI POLIESTERII sistemi poliesteri vengono utilizzati per incollare e fugare marmi, agglomerati o pietre come il travertino. Disponibili in versione liquida, solida, trasparente e colorata, si possono pigmentare con paste coloranti Universal oppure con ossidi. L’utilizzo dei poliesteri è consigliato nel caso di manufatti destinati ad ambienti dove le temperature sono comprese in un range tra 0° e 110°C.

SISTEMI EPOSSIDICII sistemi epossidici vengono utilizzati per incollaggio, retinatura/resinatura e fugatura di marmo, granito, pietre e altri substrati. Si utilizzano anche per sanare, abbellire, rinforzare ed incollare materiali lapidei e derivati. Sono disponibili nelle versioni pigmentabili, colorate, trasparenti ed opalescenti. Caratterizzati da un’elevata tenuta, sono ideali per ambienti di tipo esterno dove le temperature possono scendere sotto gli 0°C. L’incollaggio epossidico è consigliato a temperature comprese in un range di -30° e +60°C.Alcuni prodotti epossidici possono arrivare a – 45°C e a + 100°C.

Polyester systems are used for bonding and grouting of marble, agglomerated stone or stone such as travertine. They are available in liquid or solid form, transparent or coloured; they can be dyed using coloured pastes or oxides. The use of polyesters is advisable for manufactured products that are to be used in environments with a temperature range of 0° to 100°C.

I sistemi poliesteri vengono utilizzati per incollare e fugare marmi, agglomerati o pietre come il travertino. Disponibili in versione liquida, solida, trasparente e colorata, si possono pigmentare con paste coloranti oppure con ossidi. Epoxy systems are used for bonding, resining/netting and grouting of marble, granite, stone and other substrates. They are also used to repair, decorate, reinforce and bond stone materials and derivatives. They are available in colorable, coloured, transparent and opalescent versions. They have a strong bond and are ideal in external environments where temperatures may dip below 0°C. The epoxy bond is advisable for temperatures that range between -30° and +60°C.

Some epoxy products can be used at -45°C and +100°C.

N.B. Epoxy and Glaxs systems must well weighed and mixed.
