It combines the recording algorithms and workflow applications of GE’s innovative Mac-Lab Hemodynamic Recording System or CardioLab Electrophysiology Recording System, with GE’s compact, powerful Vivid™ i Ultrasound System.

By bringing ultrasound images, electrocardiogram waveforms, and hemodynamic or electrophysiology data together in your EP or cath lab during the case, CardioICE gives you full control and access to comprehensive information.

A new window to the heart.CardioICE reproduces the display of the Vivid i Ultrasound System in a window on the CardioLab XTi, Mac-Lab XTi or ComboLab XTi display. With CardioICE, you have the performance and image quality of a full-sized ultrasound system in a compact package. The result: continuous, real-time visualization of structures and devices, synchronized with electrogram waveforms or hemo- dynamic data – with full case documentation in a single, consolidated procedure log.

Easy visualization in real time.With Intracardiac Echo providing real-time visualization of cardiac structural anatomy, you can monitor and guide therapy catheters during procedures and position implantable devices with the assurance needed to:

The right catheter for the procedure.The Vivid i system supports AcuNav™ Intracardiac Echo Catheters, including 8F and 10F, as well as the Biosense Webster® 10F Soundstar® Catheters. Whether you’re performing a complex EP procedure using Biosense Webster’s CartoSound™ Image Integration Software Module, or a challenging structural heart procedure with a patient who cannot tolerate a large-diameter catheter, the Vivid i system supports the right catheter for the procedure.

Remote system control for efficiency.A new remote control keyboard allows certain Vivid i Ultrasound System image parameters to be adjusted by the clinician in the control room, taking the technologist out of the radiation field. This helps improve staff efficiency and comfort by allowing the operation of both recording and ultrasound systems from the control room, away from the X-ray system and the associated requirement for heavy protective lead garments.
