This one-day intensive revision course covered the
‘knowledge component’ that makes up 160 marks (8
stations) in the MRCS OSCE. The course covered the
commonly tested and high-yield topics in anatomy,
pathology, microbiology, physiology and critical care.
The day was specifically intended for those who had
completed a good amount of prior revision, but who
wished to revise and consolidate all topics in the
‘knowledge component’ of the exam in one day in
preparation for the exam during the second and third
weeks of October 2019. The day was calculated to be
equivalent to 30 hours of individual revision.
