Bilbo is a modular lamp made of 3d printed PLA joints and beech wood laths which can be easly assembled and disassembled together. We believe it to be an open project, it’s the final user itself to choose how to play with it.

Synapsys is a system made of flexible 3d printed joints and beech wood laths.It’s a dynamic and self-supporting structure which can grow indefinitely.The physical properties of the flex material the joints are made of allow us to assemble basically any imaginable form. It embodies all the potential of modular structures.

Depero is a table made of pine wood joists and 3d printed PLA joints. It can be scaled up or down according to the needs. It’s just an example of what a simple and well designed joint can do.

Astronomia (1). In astrofisica, il flusso supersonico di plasma prodotto dall’espansione della corona solare nello spazio interplanetario.

Nel suo moto radiale il v. solare trascina con sé il campo magnetico del Sole, dando origine al campo magnetico interplanetario.

Inspired by the winds blowing on the Mediterranean and the curves e bends they draw on our sea we designed “Serie Eolica”. Fluids shapes translated into 9 vases made of white PLA and walnut.

There was a curve drew by the wind which was first cought and then digitally domesticated. It was then approached to a solid wood base which become it’s new origin.

When we added light to the fludity of “Serie Eolica” shapes the result is this 3 lamps series made of white organic PLA and solid “cedro” wood for their bases.

Inspired by the suggestions from the deep sea we designed Antozoi.Their shapes, built layer by layer, are the synthesis of complex marine coral’s geometries characterized by pure mathematical rules.

S E R I E C O N C R E T O

This series of lamps is the result of an experimental empirical process that allowed us to put in relation 3D printing technologies and concrete in a way never seen before.
