We believe that affordable homeownership is critical to successful growth and well-being for families. This past year we helped 6 families build and own a decent, affordable home. Through homeownership, families build strength, stability and self-sufficiency.
FY 2019 presented challenges and opportunities. We continue to see the cost of building a home grow. We see increased demand for new and creative fundraising efforts and access to grant funding. These are challenges we are committed to overcome. This year we also capitalized on the opportunity to purchase an office space that will serve us well for years to come. We envision a dynamic working environment and education center to support homeowner classes and expand community awareness of affordable homeownership opportunities through Habitat for Humanity.
At our core we know that volunteers are the essence of our success and enable us to build homes and operate the ReStore. This report highlights the data, but without people, we could not thrive. The entire Loveland Habitat team is grateful for your support and confidence.
