OVERVIEW

Development of packet-switched data communication networking technologies has been

rapid in recent years. The expanding role of networking in work places like Telecom,

BPOs, banking, business, Government, and personal lives is obvious in the current

generation. A well designed network is being heralded as lifeline of business, industry

and the Governments alike. The expectations of organizations call for trained

networking professionals to design, implement, manage and analyse networks for

providing the services effectively in all areas.

More over the IP MPLS technology has revolutionized the whole data communicationnetworks with the provision of managed bandwidths and QoS. MPLS is the technology

adopted by all the enterprise networks for their core networks.

To keep pace with this expectation, BSNL is launching a certification course on Data

networking, covering hands on training in Advanced Computer Networking, MPLS and

Broadband Technologies. The course covers all the skills required to Design, set up,

manage and troubleshoot an enterprise data network.

1. The candidates while undergoing this course should appear for examinations /assessment tests conducted during the course to secure the certification from BSNLRTTC.2. The candidates will be awarded following grades based on their performance in theexaminations /assessments conducted by BSNL RTTC

a. Grade A+ 90% & above marksb. Grade A 80% - 90%c. Grade B+ 70% - 80%d. Grade B 60% - 70%e. Grade C 50% - 60%f. Failed Below 50%

CERTIFICATE

BSNL will award certificates to trainees on successful completion of the course.

PLACEMENT

No placement or Placement assistance will be provided by BSNL.

The 30 acres of lush green campus houses Library, Hostels and Recreationalamenities.

HOSTEL FACILITY

Separate Hostel facility available for Ladies and Gents if required. The boarding andlodging charges in the hostel are Rs 148/= per day per student. Library andrecreational amenities are also available in the campus.
