CHOOSE YOUR MOBILE NUMBER SCHEME (CYMNS) The customer can obtain a choice for GSM Mobile Number either through internet or by using SMS query from his existing mobile number and get a choice list of 10 numbers or by approaching the Customer Service Centre or from Franchisee / Retailer to get the choice numbers. 1. THROUGH INTERNET: - Customer can visit www.bsnl.co.in or http://www.mp.bsnl.co.in (The link will be established from circle web site to centralized website at Hyderabad) and select the numbers of his choice to get 7 digit PIN number on his mobile. Customer need to input the PIN in the website confirming the selection is completed. On completion of this the PIN will be valid for 72 hours. Now the customer is free to approach the nearest CSC or Franchisee or Retailer and inform him the mobile number and PIN received to get the selected choice number across the counter by submitting required documents.

2. SUBSCRIBERS EMPOWERMENT: Customer requesting and getting the choice number and selection method. The customer can send a SMS through his mobile to 53734

NLIST <SPACE><abbreviated circle code><SPACE><1 - 5 digits> i.e. ending with choice digits 1 to 5.

Note:- Abbreviated Circle Code for Madhya Pradesh is MP. BSNL customers will send message to short code 53734. For customers of other operators, the

SMS code is 9400012345. The customer will get upto 10 numbers for his choice and allowed to select one among them

within 30 minutes. The customer can reserve the number by sending the following SMS

CONF<SPACE><Selected GSM NUMBER>

The selected number will be made available to that customer for Seventy Two (72) hours, so that he can approach the Nearest CSC/Franchisee along with documents to complete the formalities. 3. FRANCHISEE / RETAILER:

The Franchisee / Retailer Requesting the Choice Number / Blocking and activating through their CTOPUP Number: The Franchisee / Retailer can send a SMS to the designated short code through his mobile to designated short code like

NLIST <SPACE>><abbreviate circle code><SPACE><1 - 5 digits> i.e. ending with choice digits 1 to 5.

The Franchisee / Retailer will get 20 numbers for his choice and allowed to select one among them at a time. The Franchisee / Retailer is allowed to send and reserve the number by sending

CONF<SPACE><Selected GSM NUMBER> The list of numbers will be made available to that Franchisee / Retailer for 4 hours, so that they can release those numbers to the customer as per choice. The retailer can directly activate any number through SMS without necessity of confirmation. However in such case, the number will be activated if choice number is available with the retailer or the retailer will be immediately sent a SMS, if the number is sold out. (Sold out means either activated already or PINS generated or obtained by others on query).

Various vouchers available for GSM prepaid & its functionality : Three types of vouchers are available viz. Plan vouchers, Top up vouchers and Special Tariff Vouchers.

a) Plan voucher: i) It is used to enroll a customer into a tariff plan. It will not provide any monetary value. However,

free usage in terms of minutes/MB/ Number of SMS for voice, SMS, VAS respectively is offered in the Plan Voucher.

ii) It will have validity. Customer can use this plan voucher to extend his plan validity and for migration from one plan to other.

b) Top-up voucher: i) Monetary value in rupees only will be offered. ii) It will not have any restriction on its validity or usage

c) Special Tariff Voucher: i) It will provide Special Tariff facility (voice call, data or SMS) with a maximum of 90 day Special

Tariff validity. This voucher will not extend the SIM validity. ii) It will not provide any additional monetary value to the consumer.

Migration from one plan to another :

Migration from one prepaid plan to other (Saral Anant, per second plan, per minute plan, General plan & Roam Free plan) is allowed any time with the use of Plan vouchers. Migration facility is not applicable for Special plans of Pyari Jodi, Student Special plan & Jai Jawan plan.

Validity Extension :

Per second Plan, Per minute plan & General plan : Validity can be extended by use of Plan continuation voucher of Rs. 34 (Plan continuation voucher will be applicable only after use of Plan voucher atleast once)

For Saral Anant customers : MRC Rs. 200 in six months is implemented as per present system of giving proportionate validity with minimum of 45 days for Rs. 50 Topup and in multiples of Rs. 50 (ie. Rs.100 & 150 will extend validity by 90 & 135 days respectively). Plan vouchers are not applicable for Saral Anant validity extension.

Special Plans (Pyari Jodi, Student Special, Jai Jawan & Roam Free) : Validity can be extended by use of Plan Voucher.

Top-up vouchers :

The Top-up vouchers will only provide talk value without any validity extension. The Top-up vouchers available are as below :

facility is not available for Lifetime customers. The calls within CUG refers to voice calls only and do not include video calls. All other terms and conditions will remain same.

Procedure to avail Reduced call charges facility under prepaid plans and Friends & family facility under Student Special Plan

All Subscribers under normal prepaid plan can enjoy reduced call charges facility on 3 BSNL numbers. Two on-net Local numbers (MP & CG) and one on-net STD number is allowed.

Similarly Customers registered under Student Special Plan can avail Friends & Family facility on 5 numbers. The numbers can be either on-net or off-net.

iii) Fixed Monthly Charges are to be paid by ITD centrally at NTR, Delhi in lump sum in two installments in a year in 25th January and 25th July in each financial year.

iv) Monthly bill comprising of charges for the services used beyond free usage limit allowed and charges for any additional services subscribed by the officer will be issued and sent to each officer by the concerned units of the circles. The Bills issued as above shall be payable by individual officer.

vii) Customer Application Forms (CAF) for old connections may not be required as the same is already available with BSNL. For new connections, relevant documents are to be taken through nodal officers.

viii) The replacement of SIMs in case of faulty SIMs or theft cases will be done by respective units/SSAs free of cost.

ix) For other terms and conditions, MOU dated 09.03.2011 mentioned above is to be referred.

MOBILE NUMBER PORTABILITY (MNP)

Procedure for port-in to BSNL

1. The customer has to send SMS “PORT Mobile no.” to 1900. 2. The customer will receive a UPC (Unique port-in code) through SMS. 3. Now the customer will have to contact in BSNL CSC, BSNL Franchisee, Retailer

or DSA for filling up new connection form along with all necessary documents & UPC code in port-in form.

4. After submission of form, it will be sent for verification to the old operator. After clearance from old operator the mobile number will be port-in to BSNL network. This port-in process may take 5 to 7 days.

BSNL CDMA/WLL Prepaid Services

Various vouchers available for CDMA prepaid & its functionality : Three types of vouchers are available viz. Plan vouchers, Top up vouchers and Special Tariff Vouchers.

a) Plan voucher: i) It is used to enroll a customer into a tariff plan. It will not provide any monetary value.

However, free usage in terms of minutes/MB/ Number of SMS for voice, SMS, VAS respectively is offered in the Plan Voucher.

ii) It will have validity. Customer can use this plan voucher to extend his plan validity and for migration from one plan to other.

b) Top-up voucher:

i) Monetary value in rupees only will be offered. ii) It will not have any restriction on its validity or usage

c) Special Tariff Voucher:

i) It will provide Special Tariff facility (voice call, data or SMS) with a maximum of 90 day Special Tariff validity. This voucher will not extend the SIM validity.

ii) It will not provide any additional monetary value to the consumer.

Start-up Kit (SUK): a. RUIM is to be provided with Mobile number. b. Sale price of SUK (RUIM & Activation) –Rs. 40 (inclusive of all taxes). c. Base tariff plan is to be provided in SUK kit.

2. The terms & condition for above CDMA postpaid plans is as below :

CDMA Full mobility services : The postpaid tariff for full mobility CDMA service is similar to GSM tariff applicable to 2G postpaid mobile services ( as detailed above )

CDMA Fixed/Limited Mobility services : The above postpaid CDMA plans will be offered as “Alternate Plans” in addition to existing tariff plans for CDMA fixed/limited mobility service. The existing customers will have the option to switch over to any of the above postpaid plans. However, the new customers are offered only the new postpaid plans.

In case of CDMA fixed and limited mobile customers roaming facility shall not be allowed. All India Roaming facility is available under CDMA Full mobility service (except Delhi & Mumbai).

Local call in case of CDMA means Intra circle calls i.e. Only MP. All the customers will be provided 1X data service which shall be charged @ 5paisa/100 KB. The CDMA Activation charge of Rs. 100/- in case of RUIM and Rs. 900 in case of IFWT (if provided by BSNL) will apply.
