Sheriff Mikkelson reported
the following items were missing
from the residence:
• Large amount of collectorcoins and currency, including
rolls of Susan B Anthony or
Eisenhower silver dollars; buffa-
lo nickels; wheat pennies; Indian
Head coins; $5 silver coins; $2
bills; silver C notes
$100 bills
• 32” Westing-
house flat screen TV
• Vexilar depth
finder
• DVD player with
surround sound
• HP Pavilion lap-
top• Jewelry box con-
taining a sapphire
ring, ruby ring, Black
Hills gold jewelry,
Montana silver jewel-
ry items
• X box
Sheriff Mikkelson
is urging people to
contact them if any-
thing unusual or out
of the ordinary was
noticed in the Osakis
area recently. Contact

Burglary gone wrong results indeath of Osakis woman
Lions Club makes many community donationsRunaway SUV damages

Browerville Lions Club President Bob Schaefer presented a check for $5,000 to Mike Aksamit
who accepted the donation on behalf of the Heritage Days Committee. Club Gambling Manager,
Tad Hoefs, left, says the club has also made donations of $550.00 to the Special Olympics,
$600.00 to Vacation Bible School, $650.00 for flowers for the City of Browerville, $1,000.00 to
Relay for Life, and nearly $3,000.00 to the Browerville Ambulance Squad. The Lions Club will
also be the main sponsors for an upgrade and renovation project planned for Motzko Field.
On May 16, at 4:19 pm, the

rowerville. Belinda Prather,

on Main St.
in front of
city hall.
She left the
SUV run-
ning and
when she
returned to
her vehicle
approx. five
m i n u t e s
later, she
saw it had
rolled one
block in
reverse and
struck the
Browerville
Chiroprac-
tic Clinic.
The vehicle
was not
d a ma g e d ;
the build-
ing sus-
tained moderate damage. No
other vehicles, buildings, or
pedestrians were injured.
Todd County Sheriff Pete Mikkelson addressed
the media during a press conference held at 10:00
a.m. May 21st.
