Lights On Afterschool!

On October 24th, we will be hosting

Lights on Afterschool at P.S 14 at 4pm!

Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event

celebrating afterschool programs and their important

role in the lives of children, families, and communities.

The effort has become a hallmark of the afterschool

movement and generates media coverage across the

country each year.

The Afterschool Alliance organizes Lights On After-

school to draw attention to the many ways afterschool

programs support students by offering them opportu-

nities to learn new things—such as science, communi-

ty service, robotics, Tae Kwon Do and poetry—and

discover new skills. This event sends a powerful mes-

sage that millions of children need quality afterschool

programs.

P.S 14 is located on 3041 Bruckner Boulevard Bronx, NY 10461
