ERP which focuses on Enterprise Resource Planning, CRM which focuses on Customer Relationship Management and Business Intelligence. Students registered at one of the UK or Irish member universities of University Alliances may take the courses at a highly subsidised rate - at around 10% to 15% of the commercial fee. The only requirement is that you must be registered for a degree.

The courses cover the fundamentals of the worlds leading, modern management information system - SAP. The ERP course investigates the integration of business processes such as sales, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, product development and nancial control. The CRM course focuses on customer identication, capture, management and analysis. Business Intelligence focuses on business data capture, manipulation and analysis. Upon completing any course you will understand how the SAP system is structured, how to navigate through it, the extraction of information, reporting, strategic and business analysis, and crucially how each of the SAP components complement and communicate with each other as a cohesive decision support mechanism for large multi-national organisations.

2) SAP Course materialsThe SAP course materials are not usually available to anyone not taking a course in an SAP classroom. However through the special arrangements for this programme university students will also gain access online to the materials used in SAP classrooms around the world.

How to studyThe programme provides you with a real live SAP system to explore - ordinarily you would not have access to that resource until working for a large SAP user or consultancy company. The live SAP system and course materials are hosted by the University of DuisburgEssen in Germany so as well as receiving a SAP Certication upon passing the course you will also receive a Course Certicate from Duisburg Essen.

3) Examination and CerticationAs a student candidate you will also receive one free exam place. Exams are held centrally in Birmingham and are taken alongside other SAP students. To enter for an exam you must have completed all of the case studies. This is because the exam features elements of all of the case studies and you will have the best chance to succeed by completing the course.

4) CostIf you wished to study CRM for example privately without being a university student at a school that is a member of the UK&I University Alliance programme it could cost up to 7,500 Euros including the exam. Students who are currently registered at a UA member school in the UK & Ireland pay 650 Euros for the ERP course or 700 Euros for the CRM

1) Case study based learningThe course is organised into case studies that are completed in sequence. You can track your progress through the course as well as identifying where your strengths and weaknesses are making it easier to complete the course and obtain your SAP Certication.

The courses are selfdirected and you will have access to a full, live SAP system for the duration of your studies. The evidence for self-motivation and maturity will look good on any CV.course including the exam. This is only open to University Alliances students not to private students or students from non-University Alliances universities.
