Whether you are a competitive runner or a social walker, racewalking may bethe perfect complement to your current activities! Led by World and NationalRacewalk champion, Jack Bray, Movin' Shoes will be hosting a racewalkcoaching series during the month of August.
Racewalking is one of the rare sports which combines low-impact exercisewith an aerobic workout. "Because you don't bounce, there is little stress onthe knees, kidneys or lower back," says Bray, M.A., world championracewalker."Racewalking is an exercise for the whole body. It is wonderful for your heartand lungs and builds great muscle tone for your entire body adding strengthand endurance without bulk. It's a great cross-training routine as well," saysBray.
