This is a step team for ages 11-18. There will be try-

Martin Luther King Jr Poster Contest
Show your talent/creativity in making your own
Martin Luther King Jr. poster board for a prize.
Date: Turn in by January 12th and the winners will
be announced by January 16th.

Black History Month Best Poem Contest
Poem should be a minimum of 50 words and maxi-
mum of 100. Poem should be about black history.
This contest will be for ages 3rd—8th Grade.
Date: Turn in by February 17th.

Recreation
Come out and enjoy Thanksgiving din-ner.

Christmas Games
Kids will compete over a series of days. These
games are for males and females. The games
will be free throw, knockout, 3pt contest and
center wars, where each center will pick kids that are normally in the gyms and they will
play the best out of 3 to decide which center
is the winner.

Registration: May 1— Aug 7, 2019. Forms may be obtained from Braswell Center, E. L. Roberson Center, or
online at www.tarboro-nc.com. League age is based on the age of participant on December 31 2018. A copy of your child’s birth certificate is also required.
ALL PLAYERS MUST REGISTER PRIOR TO ASSESSMENTS. The department’s goal is to balance team composition through this assessment process. Players are not guaranteed to return to their previous team. All assessments will be at the Indian Lake Sports Complex. The department reserves the right based upon participation levels to make necessary adjust-ments to league compositions based upon participation levels.

FEES All fees either Town of Tarboro resident or non-resident must be paid at the time of registration. You must live
inside the corporate limits of Tarboro at the time of your registration in order to be charged the Town of Tarboro
resident rate. Non-residents pay twice the normal fee or $25 whichever is greater. Refunds will only be availa-
ble if the class or program is cancelled.
