He was the 2005 World ChampionChuckwagon Driver and won the 2005 WPCA Dodge Pro TourChampionship becoming the first chuckwagon driver to captureboth major championships in the same year. Reg has in excess of35 major victories on his resume including three Ponoka StampedeChampionships, and has had 2 horses named to the WPCA'sEquine Outfit of Excellence. He has qualified for 28 winner–take–allchampionship final heats in his career which ranks him sixth all time

Kirk set a track record atthe Dewberry World Chuckwagon Races in 2011, has won sixmajor show championships over his career, and was the WPCAMost Improved Outfit award winner in 1984. 2011 also saw Kirkqualify for the winner–take–all championship final heat at theMedicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede, the Ponoka Stampede,and the WPCA Dodge Pro Tour Championship.
