• Speakers confirmed for 119 education and 15 field sessions.

Going Global• In April, LAs in U.S. and worldwide will photograph favorite
landscapes with cards "Designed by a Landscape Architect.“
• Images will be gathered online and tagged on a Google map with paired chapters and IFLA organizations.
• Full-press promotion campaign as global story, also custom messages for students, emerging professionals, and established LAs and principals.

Sketch Out/Loud• Also in April, Sketch Out/Loud, a month-long event organized by
Rutgers University and the New York and New Jersey ASLA Chapters.
• ASLA will promote the event, urging members to take "sketch walks" and post the results to a central website.

Student Outreach• Students are being recruited to share contact information if they are
interested in becoming a "Skype Pal" with a student in another country.
• IFLA to host email conversations on private site.
Press Push• A press release announcing the launch of WLAM in the States was
distributed via several wire services, including a national Hispanic service.
• Release was upgraded to a multimedia release translated into Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic.
• The multimedia release was "tweeted" in China on four popular microblogging sites similar to Twitter, which is banned in China.

Mission:
• Create a network of knowledgeable landscape architecture professionals involved in, inspired by, and interested in pursuing environmental justice through education, research and practice.
• Collect, compile, advance, and disseminate state-of-the-art information and research related to environmental justice practices.
• As needed, support and inform ASLA programs and policies on related issues
• Support initiatives, programs, and mentoring opportunities that expose underserved student populations to landscape architecture career options and promote diversity.
• Encourage members to share knowledge and develop resources, including with allied professionals.
