INVITATION LETTER
We are pleased to invite you to participate the Bluesky Award 2011 activity - Global Top Ten Investment Scenarios to Apply New Technologies for Renewable Energy Utilization, which is directed by United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) with Shenzhen International Technology Promotion Center for Sustainable Development (ITPC) as the organizer.
The aim of the Bluesky Award programme is to lead the industrialized utilization of renewable energy in the developing countries through the successfully demo of winning technologies so as to relax the stress on economy by conventional energy shortage, and relieve the impact on global climate change by Greenhouse effect.
The programme is based on the collection of leading technologies in renewable energy on global scale, including the use of solar energy, wind energy, hydro energy, bio-mass energy, geo-thermal energy, ocean energy, hydrogen energy, and energy saving. The showcase of nominated technologies will be arranged at China High-Tech Fair (CHTF) and the evaluation will be conducted by selected experts from diverse countries and the Award Presentation Ceremony in Shenzhen, China. The winning technologies will be promoted through websites, newsletters, publications and meetings of UNIDO network globally, a special promotion for the winning technologies was held during Shanghai Expo 2010 in UN Pavilion.
BlueSky Award has been held successfully by in 2005, 2006 and 2009. Hundreds of renewable energy technologies from more than a dozen countries including Germany, the United States, Canada, Russia, Belarus, Japan, Australia, Brazil, India, the Philippines as well as China applied for BlueSky Award. 28 technologies won the BlueSky Award and 32 technologies won the Nominee Prizes, and the most of the winning technologies have found capital for industrialized application.
We now sincerely invite you to take part in this year’s event through recommending related innovative technologies to us. The Evaluation and Awarding Ceremony will be held on Nov.18, 2011 at Shenzhen during China Hi-tech Fair.
