Having an international perspective to the degree has helped graduates gain employment both in New Zealand, and overseas. We offer two diplomas nested in the degree, Diploma in International Business Levels 5 and 6. Specialisations in Accounting, Marketing, Management, International Trade and E-Business Guest speakers, industry and field trips Small class sizes: not usually more than 20 One-to-one access to the lecturer Range of courses on offer: about 50 BIB can be completed in seven semesters (2 years 4 months), despite being normally a “three-year” programme BIB can be generic (no specialisation) or with one of five specialisations (Accounting, Management, Marketing, International Trade, E-Business) BIB (Accounting) plus Business Law and NZ Taxation can enable students to become provisional members of the College of Accounting Technicians of the NZ Institute of Chartered Accountants Students studying the marketing specialisation can become free members of The Marketing Association Employment assistance available Do you want to work in commerce but don’t want a traditional BCom? Studying the Bachelor of International Business at AIS could be just the programme for you. START DATES 10 February 2014 3 June 2014 15 September 2014 ENTRY REQUIREMENTS A minimum of 14 NCEA credits in each of 3 subjects at Level 3, and a minimum of 14 numeracy credits at Level 1 or higher, and a minimum of 8 literacy credits at Level 2 or higher; or (for Level 5 entry only) A minimum of 14 NCEA numeracy credits at Level 1 or higher and 50 credits at Level 2 or above with at least 12 credits in each of 3 subjects, including a minimum of 8 literacy credits at Level 2 or higher; orTertiary study; or • Equivalent overseas qualification; and IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL iBT 60 / TEP 39 or equivalent; and 17 years and over FEES International - NZ$16,520 per seven courses. Seven courses are normally completed in a year. Domestic - NZ4,585 per seven courses * Ask about our scholarship awards for Maori students.
