Beliefs, Values and Attitudes
A belief is something that a person holds as being true and comes from experiences, culture and background or education.
A value is a long-lasting belief about what is important. Life choices are often based on values.
An attitude is how you view other people or circumstances based on your values and beliefs.

Attitudes.
You see an infirm elderly person standing on the bus. There are younger people seated.
If you value your rights above those of others your attitude could be “so what, let them stand”.
If you value the needs of others, your attitude could be “I will give up my seat for them”

You value freedom – your attitude is that you want to be able to make your own decisions and speak out

Motivation
Adam works because he has to pay his mortgage and feed himself and his family. He gets no satisfaction from his job and there is no chance of promotion.
