Todas las ciudades del mundo tienen cualidades únicas. Esta ciudad recibió del boom petrolero unas ansias locas por lo moderno. Así en los años 70 se destruía casi todo lo antiguo para darle paso a lo nuevo. En los 90, grupos conservacionistas trabajaron duro por salvar lo poco de historia que quedaba. El resultado: una ciudad única en Suramérica, donde se mezcla lo antiguo con lo ultra moderno.

All the cities in the world have that thing that makes them unique. This particular city grew under the oil boom with such a hunger for the modern that at 70’s almost everything old was destruyed to make room for the newest things.

At 90’s, conservation groups worked very hard to saving the few historic part of the city.

The result: a unique city in South America where old and new are in the same spot.
