Lon Chaney inTHE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME 1923Quasimodo, a tortured outcast, is drawn toward his own doom by his consuming love for Esmerelda. Magnificently capturing medieval Paris, this film still stuns audiences. Thursday, November 3 at 7pm

Buster Keaton inSTEAMBOAT BILL, JR 1928The collegiate son of a salty riverboat captain joins his father’s crew and wins the heart of a rival captain’s daughter. The cyclone scene may be the most ambitious slapstick sequence ever created. Thursday, December 15 at 7pm

Sarasota-based musician Peter Tavalin has been playing improvisational music to silent films for 30 years. Peter seamlessly responds to comic screen actions & creates moods that enhance the unfolding silent dramas.
