A B O U T I N G R I D

My name is Ingrid Beckman and I am an artist living in Raleigh, North Carolina. I grew up in a house with lots of siblings and we were always encouraged to draw, and we were good at it.

In college I majored in graphic design but always loved the creativity and freedom of my drawing classes. My career path took me down that of a designer but my love for fine art never dwindled. Only recently did I create a portrait that catapulted me into the fine art arena.

Currently, I am focusing on pet and people portraits in dry media, and I am also enjoying photography. In these pages you will see a variety of my work and styles.

I appreciate you being here and taking the time to browse through these pages. It is truly an honor.
