Claustrum, in latin, is the open spacesurrounded by covered walks or open galleries, with open arcades on the inner side. The newbuilding reuses this idea, being this one, themain space where all spaces live in.

The most important space in the project is the square that is created behind the apse of the church. Pretend to

be a single space, accessible and friendly helpful whit the existing monastery.

Forced to keep the exterior volume of a cilinder of 35 meters

of diameter and 50 m of height, the program is solved withthe concept of journey, a road that goes by joining the

different parts of the building (communal spaces, library, catwalk, exibition hall...), a metaphor for successful work in

    a school of this type.

The goal is a building on a plot of 50mx1000m, with a

railway in the south and that runs paral lel to the site. Theprogram must develop 1000 houses in it, plus a series of

public facilities and commercial areas. The proposal isbased on a common internal space, a large street away

from the problem of railway. The building, longi tudinal, opena series of holes that all ow natural light inside sufficient for

Located on the top of a mountainous valley and right next to

the famous sanctuary of Arnzazu, which hosts the greatsculptural programmade by Oteiza, this project aims to

create a small community lodge for artists and researchers. The design of the building divides the program of needs into

several smaller volumes in order to adapts it better to thescarped plot. All the rooms look through the valley and profit

dynamic small apartments in the countrysde. The project finds a unique C shaped solution and repeats it

The project develops a new primary school located in aparking location in the historical core of Bilbao near BasurtoGenereal hospital. This place is a natural step from the city

to the platform created for the hospital. The idea for theproject stems from the importance of this place as a bindi ng

site, tried to reconcile the school use and the use of thepublic trails. The result is a building with a broken program

but joined at a higher level. The project will also getinteresting spaces, as a place usable by the school.
