In-Case Promotional Display Ideas

May 2010: Memorial Day, Mother's Day, Graduations, & Armed Forces Day!

With April Fools Day and Easter gone the Summer Holiday's are quickly approaching. Christmas In July is a concept that identifies shoppers throughout the year! These shoppers avoid Black Friday and look continuously for sales through-out the year. Bring these shoppers into your store before the major Holiday's. Statistics have shown that they tend to buy more and often come back again before the holiday they are shopping for.

1. Give shoppers some kind of discount. By buying your packaging when it's on sale, you can in turn sale it to your customers at lower "discounted" prices! Show the customers whom have been hibernating all winter what sales you have to offer them now that they have come out to shop!

2. Having small sales regularly, on a variety of items, will always lure customers back into your store. This means you should try and keep-up with the monthly holiday's. Take advantage of knowing the holiday's for themes and small promotional discounts. Also, make sure when you have the sales you place the table or area at the back of your store! This allows customers to view all other products offered on their way to the "sales"!

3. Send customers away with a custom bag that shows off what your business represents and your company logo. If the bag for their items is unique, keep-sake, and memorable; they will normally keep it and always will they remember which "cool", organized, and impressive store they got it from!

4. Packaging and sales displays should also identify your store's personality and be unique! Customers respond to a receptive, friendly, fun-themed-decorated, and honest environment! Make things move! Movement adds excitement to your displays and attracts attention. Colors, shapes, rotating devices, lights, message boards, and much more. With movement, personality, and uniqueness; make sure you create balance! Don't over do it!

5. Display your prices. This way customers will know what prices they are aiming for and the prices won't be a mystery to them. An example would be nice silver lamas-decor. It's always nice as a shopper to know how much something is you want. Yes, sometimes prices can scare. No matter what though, customers will buy what they want, and if they can not afford it they will work at saving their goals price and then buy what they want.

Product Design Awards, Packaging and Display Frame category.

As most of you know, this past month was the annual GlobalShop convention, held in Las Vegas. The show was very nice and we have new pictures of our featured displays. Much interest was shown in our 5600 series-Voguish View collection and was one of the attendees favorites.

The 5600 Series are, 3-D suspension see-through, packaging and/or display frames with hinged magnetic closures. This packaging can be used to display/package any product. At work, a few of us like to use them as frames for our pictures and 3-D mementos. This series design enables it to have numerous display and packaging

possibilities.

Last year the 5600 series won the Promotional Gift Award. The international Promotional Gift Award is an international competition in Cologne, Germany, which pays tribute to innovative, pioneering European promotional products. This series/collection is the 2009 winner in the "Communicative Products" category. This same product was also nominated by ASI editors in the USA and was a finalist in the Counselor magazine's
