- Low Energy/High Performance: mechanicals shall be high-efficiency & electrical shall be LED lighting with Energy-Star appliances
- Replenishable Sources: a high proportion of interior finishes shall be replenisable materials
- Embodied Energy: repurposing the existing spaces will take advantage of currently underutilized storefronts
- Recycling: building has a recycling program
- Long Life, Loose Fit: reprogramming the existing spaces are a good use of original building & suitable for live/work tenants
- Embedded in Place: recent public art project features banners celebrating local heroes, funded by JoCo
- Access & Urban Context: public transit is located within one-block of building
- Health & Happiness: public parks are located near building & interior materials shall be low VOC content
