Police Dept.Cautions Public not to join the AMWAY as the

business is illegal.

1.0 The Amway India Enterprises Private Limited has been promoting

Amway Products, through Money circulation by conducting

membership drive, cheating the public by luring and enticing them

with incentives and commissions. The activities of M/s. Amway India

Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., are covered under Money Circulation and are in

clear violation of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes

(Banning) Act, 1978. The Govt. of AP has issued a G.O.Ms.No.178 of

HOME (General-B) Department, Government of A.P., dt. 5-9-2008,

restraining publishing of any material / advertisements of the Amway

India.

2.0 The Honble High Court of A.P. has upheld the above G.O.Ms.No.178, of

Home (General-B) Department, Govt. of A.P. The Honble Supreme

Court of India has also upheld the same.

3.0 Mr. William Pinkney, MD, Amway India Enterprises, who is an accused

in the CID AP case against Amway in Cr.No. 129/2011 U/s 420 IPC and

Sec. 2 (C) R/w 3, 4, 5 & 6 of Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes

(Banning) Act, 1978, is also attending the Court of Honble Chief

Metropolitan Magistrate, Nampally, Hyderabad, in the trial against

Amway.

4.0 Mr. William Pinkney, Managing Director of Amway India Enterprises,

Sanjay Malhothra, Amshu Budhraj, Directors of Amway India, Pvt. Ltd.,

have been arrested again yesterday by the Kerala Police. There are

several cases already registered in the State of A.P. against the Amway

India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.

5.0 The Public are hereby cautioned not to participate or join the Amway

India Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., or any of its kind as the business is illegal

of Amway products.
