This is to ensure that the reader knows that it is the contents page so they know what to expect. The logo is also featured on this page. It is exactly the same as it is on the front cover to show consistency DATEThe date of the magazine is featured on the contents page to show the reader what week the magazine was released for. The date of this magazine is September. This relates to the article on the contents page as it says ‘Thank god the sun has disappeared, eh? Now we can get back to some proper British gigging.’ This relates to the date as it is colder and wetter in September.

MAIN IMAGEThe main image on this specific contents page is very large and eye catching.
