• AW139 is available, Revision 2 in sign-off, AW189 FCOM is in development,

• S-76D & S-92 FCOMs revised based on comments. To be released to the Apple
iTunes store – 3-4 weeks. HeliOffshore Space used to facilitate feedback S-76D
&
S-92 FCOM.
• The 175 FCOM updated align with RFM. No update on H225 except Flight
Operation Briefing Note released related to chip detection.
• Eye Tracking: Phase II started completion Q4 2017
• Approach Path Management Guidance Material, completed and ready for publication, Q2 2017

• Project to analyse the repetitive critical maintenance actions in each OEM program
• S76C++, S92, AW139, AW189 completed with benchmarking and zonal review
Return to Base (RTB) Analysis
• Project to analyse the top causes of technical RTB events• Contributions by eight operators, of five years of data
Joint Reliability Review
• Project to analyse group overlap on top flight critical Mean Time Between Unscheduled Removal (MTBUR) drivers
• 76C++, S92, AW139, AW189 completed data sets from four operators on each model analysed

How can you get involved?
• Support the Fleet Teams by providing willing Subject Matter Experts
(SMEs) participants in reliability practice and aircraft type expertise –
all member request
• Support the Maintenance Errors project by contributing data for
categorisation and analysis

Narrowing our focus of the workstream
• Supporting IOGP’s work on the EBS position paper
• Sea State work is ongoing
• Extract and progress the “Sea Survival” Emergency Breathing Systems (EBS) and
Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET) tasks
• Drive EBS and HUET standardisation separately - not in a workstream, but:
o As a collaborative forum and through means of influencing and creating
opportunities to:
▪ Build on global industry learnings and best practices (deployment and training)
▪ Compile, discuss, action and store pertinent membership feedback
▪ Share knowledge, best practices, and information to cater to different global
regions
▪ Create a Q&A space to assist members with unique questions and challenges

Through a forum, we can:
• Focus to assist members in every region, in addition to major locations
(e.g. UK or Gulf of Mexico)
• Keep EBS and training standardisation thriving and build on existing
“wins”
• Connect Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
• Help showcase examples from around the world, including various
technical reports, data, business cases etc. to help with understanding
and implementation where needed
• Once strategic direction is agreed, more granular vision, mission and
objectives to be defined through polling of the membership via Survey
Monkey.
