MC TEAM Once AIESECer, forever AIESECer!

November and December was a busy month. We are still working out the issues with the new MyAIESEC.net. A training for all Team Leaders was held at the end of November to fully understand how to track teams on the system. We are hoping that all TLs in AIESEC Vietnam will be utilizing this function ASAP as it really helps with understanding our LCs!

LCs are finishing up the promotion for EP recruitment and gearing up for the big EP recruitment which will take place just after Tet Holiday!!

A very proud MC VP Comm after all the hard work of the current LC VP Comms and their teams for an amazing Month!! Looking forward to seeing all the new LCVP Comms and seeing what new things 2012 will bring for Comm & IM!!!”

Way ForwardTargeted Partnership for better matching

Matching focusNovember and December are matching time for peak realization in January of OGX Vietnam, also to close 1st half term. As for now, FTU HCM and FTU HN OGXs are doing a really good job in matching, and HN and FTU HN need to push up supporting EPs to match since your current available EPs are a lot but they don't have focus and enough support.

Winter EP RecruitmentBeing taken as 1 initiative to create a new peak realization in Mar-Apr, there are 3 LCs participated in this Recruitment (Hanoi, HCMC, FTU HCMC). After promotion period, each LC now has about 30 EP applicants and can select 10 - 12 EPs from this pool. Consider the expectation and result of this, during winter we should focus on only 1 Recruitment in September to make it really big. After ILEAD, OGX will work back on creating new peak.

LegalityMC is working on process of adopting AIESEC trademark under Youth Vision with expectation of having it by the end of January. Also, the past and next 2 months would be focusing on connect with NGOs and understand clearly our movements we should take toward NGO status.

My name is Loan. I’m just a new member in AIESEC (recruitment in September). Actually, at the first time, when I joined in AIESEC, I had felt a little bored since I felt that I cannot corporate with member in AIESEC. After 2 months working with the team OGX and TM, I feel “fucking excellence” since I can gain new experience and new friends as well. From the recruitment event, I can learn how to run a small event through planning the schedule (prepare stuff, divide jobs for each person, how to encourage them to complete their tasks soon). After this event, I feel more exciting when joining in AIESEC. I will try my best to contribute my work to AIESEC as much as I can

AIESECer’s Stories I love sharing my story. It’s endlessly healing.

Hi, AIESEC!’ means saying ‘hi’ to the most amazing part in my 2011. AIESEC brings me chances to meet you, you and lots of ‘you’ from every corner of the world, which actually colors my life with the greatest diversity. AIESEC teaches me how to survive and develop even when it’s during the depression time. AIESEC encourages me to dream bigger, think deeper to the borderless scale. AIESEC takes me not only to move, but also to run, rush and get exposed to this big world. Hey AIESEC, I couldn’t stay here anymore!
