Dear Candidate,

You have taken the first step into becoming a part of Executive Board. Opening this application means, that there is this little (or maybe not so little at all) thought going through your mind, that you should apply for this position. If you feel in your heart that this is a right thing to do, do not hesitate. Even if you are afraid, remember that on every step of your AIESEC journey you are not alone. There are people who are always willing to help you.

At the same time, please remember, that being it Executive Board, means having a great influence on the whole Committee and each and every member of it. It means that you need to be ready to be a role model.Being in Executive Board is a great honor but at the same time a great responsibility. What is needed is your commitment, enthusiasm and perseverance.

I am not saying that is going to be easy, I am saying that it is going to be worth it. I know, that there will be good times and bad times, successes and failures. But I also know that at the end of this experience, you will say „ I made something remarkable, something that I can be proud of”. I know that through that experience you will grow, you will get closer to excellence.

The last thing that I want you to know and remember is that you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

Application Process

Application should contain:

• Your CV, where is mentioned your AIESEC path,other experiences and contact details (max. 2 pages)• Motivation letter,• Application Questionnaire (max.15 pages, Arial font 10)

What will happen next?

16.02- General AssemblyYou will have 15 minutes to present yourself. Then there will be 25 minutes for question and answer session for you. After all the presentations and question and answer sessions , there will be question and answer session (60 minutes) when all the candidate will be together. You need to get a vote of trust on GA to continue recruitment process.17.02- Assessment Center18.02,19.02,20.02- Review Board21.02,22.02- Results

Main responsibilitiesExecutive Board responsibilities:

• Lead, encourage and coordinate all the activities of LC Łódź,• Represent LC Łódź and take responsibility in front of the international entities of the association for the

activities made in the country,• Ensure the continuity of the Executive Board team,• Attempt to inform within academic, business and public sectors the aims and objectives of the association,• Ensure financial stability of the LC,• Educate and track Middle Management body (Coo, OCPs, OCVPs),• Coordinate local projects, initiatives and relevant task forces,• Plan and deliver local conferences and meetings,• Participation in planning process on local level,• Building role model leadership attitude, values and culture in LC,• Implementing national direction at local level,• Reporting to MC and General Assembly.

Positions that will be open in Executive Board in term 2013/2014:

• LCVP ER+ Finance,• LCVP TM,• LCVP oGIP• LCVP oGCDP• LCVP iGIP• LCVP iGCDP• LCVP Communication

Depends on recruitment results there might be open instead of iGIP and iGCDP position, just ICX position.

Obligatory meetings and conferences:

1.National conferences:

• MultiTo - March 2013,• SumCo - July 2013,• AutCo - September 2013,• NatCo - January 2014.

2.All the Local conferences.3.All the functional meetings of commissions.

We work during holidays, this is why staying in Łódź is obligatory. There will be two weeks of vacations.All the costs concerning obligatory National and Local conferences are covered by LC.

Roles of LCVPs in specific areas

OGX:

• Develop external and internal OGX positioning strategy,• Management of OGX Programs and Online Recruitment,• Ensure best quality EP recruitment,• Building up and managing international relations,• Ensuring development of OGX subsystem in Local Committee.

ICX:

• Exchange projects management,• Realization of Local Incoming Exchange strategy on ICX side• Education and supporting OCP,• Building up and managing international relations,• Ensuring development of ICX subsystem in Local Committee.

Talent Management:

• Setting the directions for Talent Management area, taking into consideration the role of HR in generating the organizational goals,

• Creating and executing the strategy for building sustainable long term membership and leadership pipeline,• Creating and executing the strategy for building sustainable culture creation in LC,• Taking care of Learning Environment that supports the realization of the organizational goals.• Generating growth in each ELD program.

Finance + External Relations:

• governance and law issue,• financial resources management to support the realization of organizational goals,• liquidity management to ensure financial stability,• Supporting core area in terms of external relationship in achieving targets of AIESEC Łódź,• Selling education in AIESEC Łódź,

Communication:

• Management of marketing area in AIESEC Łódź,• Ensure consistency of message of all internal and external actions taken by AIESEC Łódź,• Ensure cohesion of image of Executive Board and AIESEC Łódź internally and externally,• Local media partners relationship management,• Communication education in AIESEC Łódź.

QuestionsYou need to give answers to all general answers.

You need to choose one question from every area and give an answer to it.You need to choose your two most preferable areas and choose one additional

question to answer from each of it.

Example: You write answers to all general questions then you choose question 1 from Finance, question 2 and 3 from TM, question 1 and 4 from OGX, question 1 from ICX, question 2 from Marketing and question 3 from ER.

GENERAL QUESTIONS:

1.What does AIESEC mean to you? What has changed in you since you joined AIESEC?

2.What attitudes should leader in AIESEC present ? What would be the characteristics of a perfect leader? Which of them do you posses, and on which you still have to work?

3.What is and what should be the role of EB? What will be Your role in LC life as a part of EB team?

4.Imagine, that you can make three changes in our Local Committee Łódż, what would it be and why? Draw main strategies of introducing those changes.

5.What are your personal values (min.4) Give examples when you have behaved according to those values.

6.Write at least 2 actions towards each ELD program that can be undertaken in LC Łódź to improve the quality of AIESEC experience.

7.How do you as an AIESECer have an impact on the society? Give at least three examples of how you were an agent of positive changes.

SPECIFIC QUESTIONS:

Finance:

1.How do you assess synergy between LCVP Finance and OCPs? What 3 initiatives would you propose to make it more effective?

2.Financial stability of our Committee is 5 months. Write three actions that you would undertake to change it into 12 months.

3.What steps would you take to ensure that every project in LC Łódź is self-financing?

4.What would be 3 priorities for finance area in LC Łódź in the upcoming term? Describe why.

Talent Management:

1.Suggest three solutions for keeping the highest retention rate from TMP to TLP. What retention rate would you suggest as our goal?

2.Propose three goals for career paths for Coordinators in LC Lodz. Remember that Coordinator positions are supposed to last for half a year.

3.How would you like to implement Reward and Recognition system inside project? Suggest at least two solutions and time line for implementation.

4.How would you like to promote participation in National Conferences in LC Lodz? Please suggest three solutions.

Communication:

1. Evaluate the efficiency of usage of myaiesec.net among the committee members and propose at least 3 solutions how we can benefit from this tool in external and internal communication.

2. Considering the recognition of AIESEC LC Lodz among the students in Lodz, evaluate shortly the current state of brand recognition and brand experience at universities in Lodz. Please suggest the ways to improve this process by mentioning at least 5 solutions.

3. How would you improve cooperation with student organizations. Please point specific steps that have to be undertaken highlighting the sequence of the actions.

4.How do you think AIESEC in Lodz could benefit from the cooperation with local government of Lodz (The City of Lodz Office, Marshal's Office of the lodzkie region). How would you improve the relations with them and start constant cooperation? Please specify at least 3 actions.

External Relations

1.Analyze the following areas and suggest 2 ideas how to improve them:local partners, product portfolio, market research and segmentation, sales tools (including local sales tracking tool, CRM, project report), alumni relations, delivery of national projects (Career Days, Youth To Business Forum, Ambassador Program)

2.What should be the focus of the ER area for the term 13/14 to ensure financial stability of the Local Committee?

4.What should be the main synergies between ER and other areas? List two main strategies and describe why they are so important.

3.Prepare SWOT of ER area based on last years' performance.

ICX

1.According to recommended division of BD position to IC GIP and ER, suggest at least 2 synergistic actions between them, and 3 synergetic actions towards other EB members .

2.Our goal for Q3 in iGCDP is 40. How are you going to ensure fulfillment of this goal, describe at least 3 strategies.

3.In your opinion, what are the main benefits for companies who are cooperating with GIP program. Suggest at least 3 ideas how to improve positioning GIP program in external environment as First Choice Partner.

4.How would you ensure iGCDP projects high realization rate? Suggest three solutions that should be implemented.

OGX:

1. Evaluate realization rate and matching time in our LC. Give three strategies to improve each of them.

2.Prepare SWOT analysis considering launch of a new OG GCDP product Global Citizen.

3.Describe two crucial synergies that can work between OGX and other areas.

4.Please name three strategies in order to increase numbers on OG GIP.
