AGRITECHNICA is now the world’s leading trade fair for agricultural

machinery and equipment.

The trade fair was divided into sector groups in 24 halls covering a

floor space of over 100 acres. The trade fair attracted around 450,000

visitors from 88 countries, including 106,700 international visitors.

Day 3: Friday, 10 November, 2017 Heidelberg (B) Full buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Mannheim. Visit of John Deere tractor factory. Visit John Deere forum where the whole product range of John Deere can be seen. Visit the museum of John Deere and the souvenir shop. Return Heidelberg. Day 4: Saturday November 11th: Heidelberg to Mannheim to Minden (B,D)

Full buffet breakfast at the hotel, followed by a guided city walk of Heidelberg including the famous castle. Continue onto Minden. Minden is a town of about 83,000 inhabitants in the north-east of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The town extends along both sides of the River Weser. It is the capital of the district (Kreis) of Minden-Lübbecke, which is part of the region of Detmold. Minden is the historic political centre of the cultural region of Minden Land. It is widely known as the intersection of the Mittelland Canal and the River Weser. The town is over 1,200 years old and has many buildings in the Weser Renaissance style, in addition to its architecturally symbolic 1,000-year-old cathedral. Overnight Minden

Day 5: Sunday, 12th November, 2017 Hanover/Minden (B,D) Agritechnica Exclusive Days Full buffet breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the fairground in Hannover . Visit to AGRITECHNICA 2017 exclusive day. Lunch on your own at the fairground. Late afternoon you will gather in the Mu-nich Hall at the fairground, a typical Bavarian-style beerhall. Day 6: Monday, November 13th , 2017 Hanover/Minden (B)

Full buffet breakfast at the hotel. Early transfer to the fairgrounds in Hannover. Visit to AGRITECHNICA 2017 exclusive day. Lunch on your own at the fairground. Late afternoon transfer back to Minden. Free time in the evening. Overnight Minden

Day 7: Tuesday, November 14th, 2017 Potsdam (B,D)

Breakfast at your hotel. This morning your tour continues towards Potsdam near Berlin.

On route you will have two farm visits. The first visit will be at a Holstein dairy farm. The herd consists of

120 cows, 5-10 breeding bulls and 120 young cattle. The farm operates a dairy master milking parlor. On

80ha arable land wheat, barley, rape and maize are grown. Another 40 ha grass-land belongs to the farm

as well.

Lunch in a local restaurant.

Next you will visit a large farm operation with 3.800 ha arable land. This particular company is very im-

pressive as the farm shows you the change from a communism collective to a modern farm.

You will visit the farm with exclusive explanations from the chairman.

Transfer and check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Overnight Potsdam

Day 8: Wednesday, November 15th,2017 Potsdam-Berlin (B,D) Full buffet breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Potsdam and visit of the world famous Sanssouci

palace. Continue to Berlin where you will meet your city guide and start the city tour of Berlin. Ber-

lin is a capital with a turbulent past. The city has risen to the urban and environmental challenges of re-

building itself. Since the unification Berlin has once again been the capital of Germany. The densest

array of sights lies to the east of the Brandenburg Gate, on either side of “Unter den Linden”. You

will see the famous spots like the Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag and the Museums Island. Check-in at

your 4*-hotel Winter or similar. Afternoon free time for shopping or own arrangements. Dinner at a

typical Berlin-style restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.
